If you are concerned that you may have asbestos on your property, the best way to find out is to use the DIY Asbestos Test Kit to take a sample from you property and send it back to us for analysis. Our NATA accredited testing laboratory will determine its composition and issue a Certificate of Analysis.
The Certificate of Analysis will tell you the type of Asbestos (if any) detected e.g. “White Asbestos” (Chrysotile), “Brown Asbestos” (Amosite) or “Blue Asbestos” Crocidolite.
This information will help you to understand what your building materials are made of and you can then determine your approach in terms of removing or repairing the asbestos containing materials (ACM).
